It was love at first sight for Teresa and Buddy! The adorable poodle mix found his forever home with Teresa and her family in late December of 2019 after Teresa first spotted his photo on our website. The family had been looking for a smaller breed dog after their beloved Golden Retriever, Wilson, passed in August of that year. They visited the shelter immediately to meet Buddy and were able to make him a part of their family soon after!

A tale as old as time, it was love at first site for Katy and Kona! Katy first laid eyes on Kona, formerly Shiloh, at the shelter in August of 2015. According to Katy, the handsome Husky's piercing blue eyes and engaging personality made him stand out to her above the other shelter pups. The pair of pals now spend their days exploring the great outdoors and exercising together. What an amazing life!

Seven-month-old Breezy, formerly Venus, has grown up to be such a gorgeous girl! She was lucky enough to find her furever family with Kelly, Jeremiah, Chloe, and Josie in mid-March of this year when she was just 2-months-old. Her new family is absolutely in love with her, and we can certainly see why!

Look who stopped by for a visit! HSVC Alum Kona recently returned to the shelter with his family to say hello to our staff. The sweet pup was adopted by Magdalena and Michal (pictured with Ewa and Zbigniew) in October of 2018 and has been traveling the country with them ever since!

Three months later and good boy Astro has nearly tripled in size! He has grown up so much since being adopted by Michelle, Jayden, Logan, and Kayla in mid-March of this year. Now 6-months-old, Astro is loving life in his forever home!

Six-month-old Mila arrived at the HSVC as a stray in early April. Farrier Stacy Hyatt, a long-time farrier for the HSVC, found her wandering a busy street. After completing the 9-day stray hold unclaimed, she was spayed and put up for adoption.
