Handsome boys Matteo and Piccolino are still living the good life one year later in their furever home with Wendy and Ruben! Formerly Maple and Aspen, this adorable brother duo first came to the HSVC in July of 2020 at just two weeks old. They were placed in foster care until they were old enough to be adopted. Wendi and Ruben fell in love with the sweet kittens soon after they became available and quickly decided to make them a part of their family.

Riley, now Mugsy, is living happily ever after with his furever family! A 7-year-old Shih Tzu, Mugsy was surrendered to the shelter in mid-March after his previous owner could no longer care for him. Shirley saw his photo on the HSVC website and instantly fell in love. According to Shirley's daughter, Piper, Mugsy hasn't left Shirley's side since he was brought home!

Hercules, now Cass, came to the HSVC as an owner surrender in mid-April. With such an adorable face, we knew it wouldn't take long for the sweet Chihuahua pup to find a new home. He was adopted into his forever family in April of 2021 by Justin and Jessica.

Otto was adopted by Mike from the shelter in early April of 2021. Originally transferred from Kern County Animal Services, the 5-month-old Chihuahua mix pup has turned into the best adventure buddy! He and Mike often go on hiking excursions and enjoy frequent beach days. What a life!
