IMPORTANT: Low-cost vaccine clinics will be at the shelter, located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, every Saturday from 10 am - 2 pm. Please note this is subject to change at any time. There will be no onsite vaccine clinic at the shelter on days HSVC Cares hosts a remote vaccine clinic offsite. Please visit our event calendar for a full event schedule. 

No appointments are necessary. Low-cost vaccine clinics are first come, first served. Always discuss your pet’s health and particular medical needs with your veterinarian. All animals MUST be on a leash or in a carrier when arriving for your appointment. Puppies (8 weeks+) arriving for their first set of shots should be carried by owners to prevent future illness. CASH ONLY for offsite clinics. We accept cash AND cards at onsite vaccine clinics ONLY. Please note that we no longer accept bills over $20. Services will not be offered to people soliciting animals on-site and may be asked to leave the premises. 

Services offered:

Dogs:

• DHPP (Distemper / Hepatitis / Parvovirus / Parainfluenza) - currently free due to a generous grant from Petco Love Foundation
• Rabies Vaccine -$20 (proof of prior vaccination required for a 3-year license)
• Bordetella Intranasal vaccine (Bordetella / Parainfluenza) - $15
• Deworming for roundworms and hookworms - $5
• Microchipping-$25 (Includes registration)

Cats:

• FVRCP (Rhinotracheitis / Calicivirus / Panleukopenia) - currently free due to a generous grant from Petco Love Foundation
• Rabies Vaccine - $20 (proof of prior vaccination required for a 3-year license)
• Deworming for roundworms and hookworms - $5
• Microchipping - $25 (Includes registration)

*Please note we do not offer vaccination for Leptospirosis or FelineLeukemia Virus. We do not offer nail trims during vaccination clinics.
