We had so much fun attending the Ojai Valley Community Hospital's annual October Classic walk over the weekend! Each year, the hospital hosts a walk to motivate people to get moving and promote a healthy lifestyle. Community Outreach Coordinator Steve McCurry and Media and Marketing Manager Amy King hosted a table at the event to share information about the HSVC and encourage those interested to adopt a future walking buddy. We at the Humane Society of Ventura County have been fortunate to have a vast network of volunteers and donors. We could not perform much-needed services for Ventura County without ongoing support from the community. We are excited to be a part of the Giving Tuesday movement again this year and will be holding our 2nd annual Giving Tuesday alumni benefit event at Ojai Valley Brewery on Tuesday, November 29th, from 5 - 8 PM.
