The Humane Society of Ventura County is a compassionate care shelter and non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and adoption of animals in need throughout Ventura County.
We are so excited to announce the return of our Animal Reading Friends (ARF) Program just in time for summer break! Kids of all ages can join us at the shelter, located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 10:30-12:30 and read to our shelter animals. We will kick off this program on Wednesday, July 6th at 10 am!
The Humane Society of Ventura County would like to say a very special thank you to Girl Scout Brownie Troop 65031 for donating nearly $300 of cookie sale earnings to help us fulfill our Amazon Wishlist!
