Welcome to 2017! We hope that everyone is as excited about the new year as much as we are! This time of year, people all over begin to wrap up the old and start making plans for the new. One popular tradition is the New Year's Resolution.
The Humane Society of Ventura County will be closed to the public New Year's Eve Day and New Year's Day! We will return to our normal hours on Monday, January 2nd, at 10 am. Thank you all for your support and Happy New Year from your 2 and 4 legged friends at the Humane Society of Ventura County!

This holiday season, animals throughout the county will be celebrating in loving homes-some for the first time in their lives. You are the reason they have been given a second chance. The generosity and compassion of our supporters have provided a safe haven for Ventura County’s needy animals since 1932.
Lunar needs your help! This 5 month old black kitten is looking for a home for the holidays. As you can see he is already in the festive spirit! Lunar was originally given as a gift and the family was unable to keep him.
