Meet Elbe, a 14-year-old Australian Cattle Dog looking for his forever home! Good boy Elbe came to the HSVC with his fellow Cattle Dog friends in mid-September after they were surrendered to the shelter. He can be a little shy at first, but Elbe is very sweet once he is comfortable with you. As a senior dog, we think Elbe would do best in a quieter home with owners who are willing to take things slow with him.

Sweet Gunner is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who joined our pack in late May and is on the hunt for his forever family! Gunner is a shy guy at first but full of love and affection. He regularly joins us on pack walks around town, walks gently on his leash, and loves snuggling. We cannot believe Rogue is still at the shelter! This gorgeous 5-month-old Calico kitten has been patiently waiting for her forever home since mid-July of this year. She arrived with her siblings Storm, Professor X, Jean Grey, and Mystique, all affectionately named after iconic X-men characters. Rogue is a little shyer than her siblings and friends in the kitten room, but she is very sweet when she is comfortable with you! Mini by name but mighty by personality, this 5-year-old Bulldog mix was brought to the HSVC by our Humane Officers in mid-July as part of a humane investigation. She is full of love and would do anything for a belly rub and a good snuggle. Due to health issues, Mini will need a relaxing home with an owner who will take her on short walks in comfortable temperatures. If you are interested in learning more about Mini, stop by the shelter and meet her! We know you can't resist this cutie! Four-year-old Bertha came to the HSVC in mid-July with her friends as part of an abuse and neglect case. Despite the situation she came from, the spunky Bulldog mix is sweet and so friendly! She loves attention and will do just about anything for a good head scratch. Like many Bulldogs, Bertha breathes and grunts loudly when she gets excited. It's part of her charm!

She is very friendly to humans, though she prefers women. Kitty also loves her me time and would do best as the only animal in the house.
