Wrigley Hit a Home Run with His Forever Home!
Wrigley, formerly Aaron, arrived at the shelter in mid-August 2024 with his mama, Chloe, and three brothers. Just one-week-old at the time, the quad of cuties were named after men cast on the popular reality TV show, Love Island. They spent several weeks in a loving foster home before returning to the shelter in search of their own forever homes. With his precious face and playful personality, it's no surprise that Aaron caught the eye of his future mama, Taylor, in no time. The pair recently celebrated Wrigley's first Gotcha Day anniversary!

According to Taylor, Wrigley has grown into the best pup for her family. He's smart as can be, always eager to learn new tricks and skills. The sweet dog's smile when he successfully executes a new skill will brighten anyone's day! Wrigley has also become an avid adventurer. He and his mom spend countless days swimming at the pool or splashing in waves at the beach. A true Spaniel mix, Wrigley also loves soaking up sunshine at the park and finding a good stick to chomp on!
Wrigley is a social butterfly with all creatures, including people. "He loves other dogs and cats, especially his feline sister, Rainier! (above, far left). He loves people, too, and he is super loyal. He can never be close enough to me!" said Taylor. The sweet pup recently took on the role of big brother to some adorable foster kittens (above, middle right), and even had a play date with one of his littermates (above, middle left). As if that weren't enough, Taylor says Wrigley is also working on his service dog training, so he can make an even bigger impact in his community!
It's clear that Wrigley and Taylor were a match made in heaven. Thank you to Wrigley's foster family for taking such good care of him in his early weeks of life, and thank you to Taylor for spoiling him forever!
