Vega is Ready for Her Second Chance

Meet Vega, a beautiful 5-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who’s ready to find her forever home. This sweet girl was surrendered by her previous owner due to no fault of her own, and it’s clear she’s been well cared for. She’s well-trained, social, and full of love. She's ready for her second chance with a new family!
During her time with us, Vega has shown just how special she is. She’s calm, tolerant, and does wonderfully with other dogs. She’s also friendly with people, kids, and even cats. She came to the shelter crate-trained, easy to walk, and always up for a hike, coffee run, or a cozy night in. Vega is the perfect mix of gentle and adventurous. She’s ready to find a home where she can share her gentle heart and adventurous spirit.
Think Vega could be the right fit for your home? Come meet her at HSVC, located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, anytime Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 4:30 pm to find out! This adorable gal is ready to start her next chapter, and you can help us make her dream a reality!
Included with every dog adoption is the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery (if necessary), as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
