Scott Sanford joined the Board of Directors in February 2024 and became the Vice President in April 2024. He is a Commercial Banker for JP Morgan Chase focused on providing debt, treasury management and other banking solutions to businesses in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties. He is passionate about animals, the ocean, and the environment.

Scott was born in Canada and moved to California when he was six years old. He received his B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Claremont McKenna College in 2010 where he played water polo and swam during all four years. He lives in Ventura with his wife Melissa and their 15-year-old Australian Cattle Dog named Sky whom they adopted from HSVC. He serves on the board of New Beginnings in Santa Barbara and the Finance Committee of the Ventura Land Trust. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, spearfishing, and playing music.
