Update (10/28/25) Panda and Pikachu have been adopted!

At just 6-months-old, Panda and Pikachu have already proven that friendship is their greatest power. This bonded pair of kittens has spent over 90 days at the Humane Society of Ventura County, patiently waiting for their chance to find a loving home together. Like a true Pokémon duo, their bond is unbreakable, and their personalities complement one another perfectly.

When you first meet Panda and Pikachu, you might notice their shy, cautious nature. They take a little time to warm up to new people, but once they do, their sweet and affectionate sides begin to shine. These boys love nothing more than curling up together for a nap, grooming one another, and watching the world go by from the comfort of their favorite cat tree. Over time, they’ve grown more confident and playful, showing off the curiosity and charm that make kittens so endearing.

Both Panda and Pikachu are what we like to call “loungy cats.” They prefer calm environments where they can relax, observe, and nap in peace. High perches are their favorite spots; the perfect place to feel secure while keeping an eye on their surroundings. They also have a soft spot for Churu treats, which quickly became their favorite power-ups and a sure way to win their affection to catch them with your Poké Ball.

Because of their gentle, reserved nature, Panda and Pikachu would do best in a quiet household without small children or a lot of commotion. They thrive on consistency and routine, which helps them feel safe and comfortable. With patience and love, this pair will blossom into loyal, affectionate companions who will fill your home with calm and contentment.
