A Whole New World for Princess Jazmine

Say hello to Jazmine, the real-life princess of the Humane Society of Ventura County. Recently, her adorable colt, Abu (now Finn), found his forever home, and now it's this sweet mama's turn. Jazmine came to us in April as one of eight pregnant mares at risk of euthanasia in Riverside County. Thankfully, a kindhearted woman rescued her and brought her to the safety of our shelter, where Jazmine soon gave birth to her handsome colt. Since then, this gentle 11-year-old Quarterhorse mare has captured hearts with her sweet nature and calm spirit.

She loves handwalks, brushing sessions, and soaking up all the attention from staff and volunteers. Jazmine is happy, healthy, and ready to find a home where she can be someone's loving companion. While she is not currently rideable, Jazmine has great potential and could be easily trained for riding with the right adopter and consistent handling. We're so proud of how fair this beautiful mare has come, and now we can't wait to see her find her happily ever after.
