Erica Jackson

Senior Manager of Admissions and Pet Support Services

Erica joined the HSVC team in June of 2023. Erica graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in December of 2010 with a degree in Animal Science. Her career in animal welfare began in January of 2011 at Santa Barbara Humane Society, where she worked for over a decade. Erica spent the last year and a half helping dogs in a different way, working at Atlas Rehabilitation for Canines in Santa Barbara.

From a young age she always knew that she wanted to work with animals and feels fortunate to have a job that brings her so much joy. Erica has three dogs and one cat at home, all of which are rescues.
