Callie Coggins

Veterinary Assistant

Callie joined the HSVC team in April of 2023. She has been an Animal Behavior College Certified Veterinary Assistant since 2011 and has additional Fear Free Certifications in Canine, Feline, Avian, Equine, and Shelter pets. Born and raised in Ventura, Callie has also lived in Ojai, Lancaster, and Massachusetts. She has worked at various animal clinics in Ventura and even taught a Veterinary Assisting Certification program at a local vocational school this past year. Callie has three teenage kids, three rescue dogs (two seniors and a deaf puppy), three rescue cats, two reptiles, and a foster cat from HSVC named Carrie. 

"I have always had a passion for animals (especially dogs) and science, so Veterinary medicine was the perfect combination of these subjects for me. I have never felt more at-home than I do in a clinic! Patient care has always been my top priority and working with the patients who need care the most is so fulfilling to me!" said Callie.
