ABOUT
Adopt Bullseye This Deaf Dog Awareness Week

Our sweet girl, Bullseye, has come a long way on her journey, and we’re thrilled to share that she is now ready to find her forever home! This lovable 6-month-old Boxer mix pup came to us as a stray in early July of this year. Though we don’t know much about her past, what we’ve learned since she arrived 80 days ago speaks volumes about her strength, charm, and affectionate spirit. Now we need your help to find Bullseye the family she deserves!
During her stay with us, Bullseye injured her paw and fractured four toes. After weeks of receiving careful treatment and love from the animal care staff, her cast has been removed, and she’s learning to walk on her own again. While she may still be a little tender on her foot as she continues to heal, her determination and joyful soul shine brighter every day. Bullseye isn’t just resilient, she’s also incredibly lovable. She wiggles with excitement for attention, leans in for pets, and thrives on human companionship. She’s potty trained, progressing with crate training, and has done well around small dogs. Our staff thinks she may be deaf, but she’s proving to be a quick learner by picking up visual cues and showing just how adaptable she really is.
What Bullseye needs now is a forever family that sees her for the extraordinary pup she is; a family that can offer patience, guidance, and plenty of love as she continues to heal and grow. With her sweet nature and unstoppable spirit, Bullseye is bound to make a wonderful addition to the right home. Are you ready to be part of Bullseye’s happily-ever-after? Come meet her at HSVC (402 Bryant St. in Ojai, CA) during visiting hours, Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Bullseye has fought hard for her second chance. Now she’s waiting for someone special to help her write the rest of her story.
Included with every dog adoption is the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery (if necessary), as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
