Turning Art into Action for HSVC Animals

Our Art for Animals campaign has officially come to a close, and we are thrilled to announce that we reached an incredible milestone of 80 portraits created! Each image celebrated furry friends while supporting the animals in our care, turning art into action. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, this campaign raised nearly $2,000 to benefit the animals of HSVC! Every dollar goes directly toward providing shelter, medical care, and adoption services for the animals in need of our care.

At the heart of this campaign was local Ojai artist Hannah Greene (left), whose beautiful work brought each portrait to life. From lively pups, majestic horses, and curious cats, Hannah's tattoo-style illustrations captured the unique personality and charm of every pet she drew. Each portrait was a true labor of love, reflecting both her incredible talent and her compassion for animals. Born and raised in Ojai, Hannah has long been a friend and supporter of HSVC. As the owner of The Icehouse Studio, she has shared her creativity with our community through her artistry and talent. Her dedication to animals and her craftsmanship made this fundraiser a wonderful success, and we cannot thank her enough for her generosity and partnership.

We are beyond grateful to everyone who participated, donated, and shared their pets' stories with us. Your support helped make this creative fundraiser such a success, and every brushstroke truly made a difference for the animals in our care. Thank you for helping us turn art into action!
